High Voltage Junction Box Repair Procedures

Removal

Be sure to read and observe the "General Safety Information and Caution" before performing any work on the high voltage system. Failure to follow the safety instructions may result in serious electrical injury. Before performing any work, be sure to disconnect high voltage related to the high voltage system (refer to "High Voltage Disconnection Procedure"). Failure to follow safety instructions may result in serious electric shock. Do not remove the high voltage junction box cover. You may be killed or injured. Do not disassemble the internal components.

   Remove the PE room cover (A).

   Disconnect the fast charging high voltage cable (A).

   Disconnect the high voltage junction box (A).

   Disconnect the air conditioning compressor high voltage connector (A).

   Disconnect the high voltage battery cable (A).

   Disconnect the PTC heater high voltage connector (A).

   

7. 7
   Disconnect the EPCU high voltage cable (A).

   Disconnect the on-board charger high voltage connector (A).

   

9. 9
   Remove the high voltage junction box (A) after loosening the bolts.

   Tightening torque: 7.8 ~ 11.8 N·m

   

Installation

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.

   If the high voltage connector is not connected, make sure the pins are not bent. Do not force the high voltage connector into place.
