The battery is located in the luggage compartment under the compartment cover.

When replacing the battery, disconnect the negative (-) cable (1) and remove the positive (+) battery fuse block (2).

Remove the battery mounting bracket (3).

WARNING - Contact with Metal Surfaces in the Luggage Compartment Under the Compartment Cover

Do not touch the metal surfaces in the luggage compartment under the compartment cover while the engine is running or hot. This may result in serious injury. Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool, or wear gloves when replacing the battery in the luggage compartment.
