Interior Door Lock Operation

With Door Lock Button

• To unlock the door, push the door lock button (1) to the "Unlock" position. The red mark on the handle will be visible.
• To lock the door, push the door lock button (1) to the "Lock" position. If the door is locked correctly, the red mark on the handle will not be visible.
• To open the door, pull the door handle (2) outward.
• If the driver's (or front passenger's) inside door handle is pulled while the door lock button is in the locked position, the button will unlock and the door will open. (if equipped)
• The front doors cannot be locked if the electronic key is inside the vehicle and a front door is open.
• The doors cannot be locked if the electronic key is inside the vehicle and a door is open.

WARNING

Do not pull the inside door handle while the vehicle is in motion.

If the power door lock stops working while you are inside the vehicle, try one or more of the following methods to exit:

• Repeatedly operate the door unlock function (both electronically and manually) while pulling the door handle.
• Lock or unlock the other door locks and handles, front and rear.
• Lower the front window and use the key to unlock the door from the outside.

With Central Door Lock Switch

Activate by pressing the central door lock switch.

For the driver's door:

• Press the right side (1) of the switch to lock all doors of the vehicle.
• Press the left side (2) of the switch to unlock all doors of the vehicle.

For the front passenger's door:

• Press the front side (1) of the switch to lock all doors of the vehicle.
• Press the rear side (2) of the switch to unlock all doors of the vehicle.
• If the smart key is inside the vehicle and any front door is open, the doors will not lock even if the right side (1, driver's door) of the central door lock switch is pressed.

WARNING - Doors

Always keep the doors fully closed and locked while driving to prevent the door from opening accidentally.

WARNING - Unattended Children/Animals

Never leave children or animals unattended in the vehicle. A closed vehicle can become extremely hot, which may result in death or serious injury to unattended children or animals who cannot leave the vehicle.
