What to Do in an Emergency

■ For 17-inch tire

With the Tire Mobility Kit, you remain mobile even after a tire puncture.

The compressor and sealant connection effectively and comfortably seals most punctures in passenger car tires caused by nails or similar objects, and reinflates the tire.

Once you have made sure that the tire is properly sealed, you may carefully drive on the tire (distance up to 200 km (120 miles)) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h to reach a service station or tire dealer to have the tire replaced.

Some tires, especially those with large punctures or sidewall damage, may not be sealed completely.

Loss of tire air pressure may adversely affect tire performance.

For this reason, avoid sudden steering or other driving maneuvers, especially if the vehicle is heavily loaded or if a trailer is being towed.

The Tire Mobility Kit is not designed for permanent tire repair and must be used for one tire only. This procedure shows you step by step how to temporarily and reliably seal a puncture. Read the section "Safety Notes for Using the Tire Mobility Kit".

WARNING

Do not use the TMK if the tire is severely damaged, when driving on a horizontal surface, or with insufficient tire pressure.

The TMK can only be used to seal punctures located in the tread area of the tire.
