- Park your vehicle on the side of the road so that you can work with the Tire Mobility Kit away from moving traffic.
- To make sure your vehicle does not move, even when parked on fairly level ground, always set the parking brake.
- Use the Tire Mobility Kit only to seal and inflate passenger car tires. Only punctures in the tread area of the tire can be sealed with the Tire Mobility Kit.
- Do not use on motorcycles, bicycles, or any other type of tire.
- When the tire and wheel are damaged, do not use the Tire Mobility Kit for your safety.
- The Tire Mobility Kit may not be effective for tire damage larger than approximately 6 mm (0.24 in). If the tire cannot be made serviceable with the Tire Mobility Kit, we recommend that you contact an authorized Kia dealer.
- Do not use the Tire Mobility Kit if the tire is severely damaged. Do not drive with the tire in a horizontal position or with insufficient air pressure.
- Do not remove foreign objects such as nails or screws that have punctured the tire.
- If the vehicle is on the road, keep the engine running. Otherwise, operation of the compressor may eventually discharge the vehicle battery.
- Never leave the Tire Mobility Kit unattended during use.
- Do not operate the compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time, or it may overheat.
- Do not use the Tire Mobility Kit if the ambient temperature is below - 30 °C.
