~1min read

The sensors are located inside the rear bumper.
Always keep the rear bumper clean for the system to operate properly.
WARNING
- The warning indicator on the outside rearview mirror will illuminate whenever a vehicle is detected on the rear side of the vehicle. To avoid accidents, do not focus only on the warning indicator and neglect to check the surroundings of the vehicle.
- Drive safely even if the vehicle is equipped with the Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) systems. Do not rely solely on the system; check your surroundings before changing lanes or reversing. The system may not warn the driver in some conditions, so always check your surroundings while driving.
- The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) systems do not replace proper and safe driving practices. Always drive safely and exercise caution when changing lanes or reversing. The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system cannot detect every object near the vehicle.
✽ NOTICE
- The system may malfunction if the rear bumper is damaged or if the rear bumper has been replaced or repaired.
- The detection range varies somewhat depending on the width of the road. When the road is narrow, the system may detect other vehicles in the next lane. Or when the road is wide, the system may not detect other vehicles in the next lane.
- The system may be deactivated due to strong electromagnetic waves.
