Driving Your Vehicle
ISG (Idle Stop and Go) System
In this manual: Driving Your Vehicle
~1min read
Your vehicle may be equipped with the ISG System, which improves fuel economy by automatically turning off the engine when the vehicle is stopped (for example: at a red light, stop sign, or in traffic).
The engine restarts automatically as soon as the initial conditions are met.
The ISG System is turned on whenever the engine is running.
✽ NOTICE
When the engine restarts automatically through the ISG System, some warning lights (ABS, ESC, ESC OFF, EPS, or parking brake warning light) may illuminate for a few seconds.
This is caused by low battery voltage. It does not mean that the system is malfunctioning.
