Your vehicle with a manual transmission should not be started by pushing, because this may damage the emission control system. Vehicles with an automatic transmission cannot be started by pushing. Follow the instructions in this chapter for "Quick Start".

WARNING

Never tow the vehicle to start it, because the sudden forward jolt when the engine starts may cause a collision with the towing vehicle.
