This indicator light illuminates:

  • After you turn the ignition key or engine start/stop button to the ON position,
    - the light comes on for about 3 seconds and then goes off.
  • If there is a malfunction in the ABS, the warning light remains illuminated. The brake system will operate without the anti-lock function.

In this case, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
