Outside Rear View Mirror
Always adjust the mirror angles before driving.
Your vehicle is equipped with both left and right outside rearview mirrors. The mirrors can be adjusted remotely using the remote control switch. The mirror heads can be folded back to prevent damage during an automatic car wash or when driving through a narrow street.
The passenger-side outside rearview mirror is convex. Objects seen in the mirror are closer than they appear.
Use the inside rearview mirror or look directly over your shoulder to judge the actual distance to vehicles following when changing lanes.
WARNING - Rearview Mirror
Do not scrape ice off the mirror; this may damage the glass surface. If ice prevents mirror movement, do not force the mirror to adjust. To remove ice, use de-icing spray, a sponge, or a soft cloth with very warm water.
If the mirror is frozen, do not force the mirror adjustment. Use an approved de-icing spray (not radiator antifreeze) to free the frozen mechanism, or move the vehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt.
WARNING - Mirror Adjustment
Do not adjust or fold the outside rearview mirrors while driving. This may cause loss of vehicle control.
