Rear View Monitor Parking Assist Function

When the vehicle is in reverse, the outside rearview mirrors will tilt downward to assist parking. Depending on the position of the outside mirror switch, the outside rearview mirrors will operate as follows:

L/R: When the remote outside mirror switch is set to the L (left) or R (right) position, both outside rearview mirrors will tilt downward.

Neutral position: When the remote-control mirror switch is in the center position, the outside rearview mirrors will not operate while the vehicle is in reverse.

The outside rearview mirrors will automatically return to their original position under the following conditions:

1. The ignition switch is in the OFF position.

2. The shift lever is moved to any position other than R (Reverse).

3. The remote-control mirror switch is in the center position.
