1. Front Door Latch

Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the front door trim. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim")
  2. Remove the door trim mounting bracket (A) after loosening the screws.
  3. Disconnect the front door speaker connector (A), then remove the wiring harness clips.
  4. Remove the front door trim cover seal (A).
  5. Disconnect the door lock rod (A).
  6. Disconnect the door latch rod (A).
  7. Loosen the front door latch mounting screws (A).

    Tightening torque: Screw: 7.8–10.8 N·m

  8. Remove the front door latch (A) after disconnecting the latch connector (B).
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
