Towing service

If the vehicle needs to be towed in an emergency, it is recommended to contact an authorized Kia dealer or a roadside assistance service. To avoid damaging the vehicle, follow the correct lifting and towing procedures. The use of tow dollies or flatbed tow trucks is recommended.
Towing the vehicle with the rear wheels on the ground (without a tow dolly) and the front wheels lifted is permitted.
If one of the loaded wheels or suspension components is damaged, or if the vehicle is towed with the front wheels lifted off the ground, use a tow dolly under the front wheels.
When the vehicle is towed by a tow truck without using a tow dolly, the vehicle must always be towed with the front wheels lifted off the ground, not the rear wheels.

WARNING
- Do not tow the vehicle backward with the front wheels on the ground to avoid damaging it.
- Do not use cable slings for towing. Use only equipment that can lift the vehicle's wheels or that has a flatbed on which to load it.
When the vehicle must be towed in an emergency without a tow dolly:
- Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
- Place the transmission in neutral (N).
- Release the parking brake.
