Climate Control Air Filter

Filter Inspection

The climate control air filter should be replaced according to the Maintenance Schedule. If the vehicle is driven for extended periods in cities with heavily polluted air or on dusty, uneven roads, inspect and replace it more frequently. When replacing the climate control air filter, follow the procedure below and take care not to damage other components.

1. Open the glove box and remove the stoppers from both sides.

2. With the glove box open, pull the support strap (1).

3. Remove the climate control air filter cover by pressing the latches on both sides of the cover.

4. Replace the cabin air filter.

5. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

When replacing the climate control air filter, install it correctly. Otherwise, the system may generate noise and filter efficiency may decrease.
