WARNING

Rear Center Seat Belt

Do not separate the mini tongue (1) and mini buckle (2), even if there is no occupant.

If separated, it may strike rear seat passengers in a collision or sudden stop.

Pull the tongue and insert the tongue into the open end of the buckle until a click is heard, indicating that the latch is locked. Make sure the belt is not twisted.

CAUTION

When using the rear center seat belt, the buckle marked "CENTER" must be used.

A click will sound when the tongue latches into the buckle. The seat belt automatically adjusts to the correct length only after you manually adjust the lap belt so that it fits snugly over your hips. If you lean forward slowly and gently, the belt will extend and allow you to move. In the event of a sudden stop or impact, the belt will lock in place. It will also lock if you attempt to lean forward quickly.

WARNING

When using the rear center seat belt, all tongues and buckles must be latched. If any tongue plate or buckle is not latched, the risk of injury in a collision increases.
