Kia Soul. Passenger’s front air bag OFF indicator

❈ The actual indicator in the vehicle may differ from the one shown in the illustration.

Kia Soul. Passenger’s front air bag OFF indicator

The front passenger front airbag off indicator illuminates for approximately 4 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the ON position.

The front passenger front airbag off indicator also illuminates when the front passenger front airbag ON/OFF switch is set to the OFF position, and turns off when the front passenger front airbag ON/OFF switch is set to the ON position.

CAUTION

If the front passenger front airbag ON/OFF switch is malfunctioning, the front passenger front airbag off indicator does not illuminate (front passenger front airbag is enabled). The front passenger front airbag on indicator illuminates and turns off after approximately 60 seconds, and the front passenger front airbag will deploy in a frontal collision even if the front passenger front airbag ON/OFF switch is set to the OFF position.

In this case, have the front passenger airbag ON/OFF switch and SRS airbag system inspected by a qualified service shop.

Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
