Windshield Defrosting

The windshield defroster heats the glass to remove frost, fog and thin ice from the inside and outside of the windshield while the engine is running.

To turn on the windshield defroster, press the windshield defroster button. The indicator on the windshield defroster button illuminates when the windshield defroster is on.

If heavy snow has accumulated on the windshield, brush it off before operating the windshield defroster.

The windshield defroster automatically turns off after approximately 15 minutes or when the ignition is turned off. However, if you press the button again after the defroster has automatically turned off after 15 minutes, the defroster will operate for only 5 minutes. To turn off the windshield defroster while it is operating, press the windshield defroster button again.

OFF Mode

Press the OFF button to turn off the climate control system. However, you can still operate the intake air buttons while the ignition key is in the ON position.
