Kia Soul. Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW-F/R) system

The Parking Distance Warning system alerts the driver with an audible signal while the vehicle is moving if any object is detected within 100 cm (39 in.) in front of and 120 cm (47 in.) behind the vehicle.

This system is a supplementary system and does not replace the need for the driver's utmost care and attention.

The detection range and objects detected by the sensors are limited. At all times while driving, pay as much attention to what is in front of and behind you as you would in a vehicle without the Parking Distance Warning system.

WARNING

The Parking Distance Warning system should be considered only as a supplementary feature. The driver must check the view in front and behind. Many factors and environmental conditions may affect the operation of the Parking Distance Warning system, so responsibility always lies with the driver.
