Sunshade

The sunshade will open automatically together with the glass panel when the glass panel slides. You will need to close it manually if you want it closed.

Sunroof Reset

The sunroof must be reset if the following occurs:

- The battery is discharged or disconnected, or the related fuse has been replaced or removed.

- The one-touch sunroof open/close function normally does not operate.

1. The ignition switch must be in the ON position.
2. Fully close the sunroof.
3. Release the control lever.
4. Push the control lever forward until the sunroof tilts up and then release the lever.
5. Push the control lever forward until the sunroof operates as follows: TILT DOWN, SLIDE OPEN, SLIDE CLOSE.

Then release the control lever.

If the sunroof does not operate properly after resetting, have the system inspected by a professional workshop. Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.

CAUTION

If the sunroof does not reset after disconnecting or discharging the vehicle battery, or if the corresponding fuse has blown, the sunroof may not operate properly.
