Head restraints
Your vehicle is equipped with headrests for the front seats, outboard rear seats* and center rear seat,* to help protect you and other passengers from neck injuries.
WARNING
While driving, the headrests of all occupied seats must be installed and properly adjusted. In addition, the headrests of all occupied rear seats must be raised: Headrests that are removed, set too low or too high endanger safety while driving. In a collision, an unsupported neck is at risk of serious injury.

Removal/Installation
To remove the headrest, pull it up while holding the lock button.
To install the headrest, insert the posts into the holes while holding the lock button.
WARNING
While driving, the headrests of all occupied seats must be properly adjusted: Driving with headrests not installed endangers safety.
In a collision, an unsupported neck is at risk of serious injury.
After installing a headrest, try to pull it up to make sure it cannot be removed: Driving with an unsecured headrest endangers safety, because the headrest may not function effectively, which in turn may cause it to unexpectedly detach from the seat.
CAUTION
- When installing a headrest, make sure it is installed correctly, with the front side facing the direction of travel.
An incorrectly installed headrest may detach from the seat during a collision and cause injury to passengers.
