Tire pressure
Check the tyre pressure (cold) at least every 14 days and before every long journey. Do not forget the spare wheel. This also applies to vehicles with tyre pressure monitoring system.
Unscrew the valve cap.

Inflation pressure 283 and on the label on the front left or right door frame.
The inflation pressure data refers to cold tyres. It applies to both summer and winter tyres.
Always inflate the spare wheel to the inflation pressure for full load.
The ECO inflation pressure is used to achieve the lowest possible fuel consumption.
Over- or under-inflating the tyres relative to the prescribed pressures adversely affects safety, handling, ride comfort and fuel consumption and increases tyre wear.
Caution
Insufficient inflation can cause considerable heating of the tyre as well as internal damage leading to separation of the tread and even tyre burst at high speed.
If the inflation pressure must be reduced or increased on a vehicle with tyre pressure monitoring system, switch off the ignition.
