Practical advice
Access to the towing eyes
In this manual: Practical advice
~1min read

Remove cover 4 or 6 by inserting a flat tool (or the key built into the RENAULT card) under the cover.
Screw towing eye 3 in as far as it will go: the first time, by hand until it stops, then tighten it with the wheel brace or lever, depending on the vehicle version.
Use only towing eye 3 and the wheel brace or lever supplied in the tool kit (see the "Tool kit" section in chapter 5).
- A rigid towing bar must be used. If a towing strap made of natural or synthetic fibres is used (where permitted by law), the towed vehicle must be capable of being stopped using its brakes.
- Do not tow a vehicle whose running gear is damaged.
- Avoid jerking when accelerating or braking, as this could damage the vehicle.
- In all cases, the speed must not exceed 50 km/h.
- Do not push the vehicle if the steering column is locked.
