Towing a vehicle with automatic transmission
Engine off: as the gearbox is not lubricated, it is best to transport the vehicle on a flatbed or tow it with the front wheels raised.
In exceptional circumstances, the vehicle may be towed on the road, not on a flatbed, only forwards with the gear lever in neutral N and over a distance of no more than 50 km.

If the selector lever remains locked in position P while the brake pedal is pressed, it can be released manually. To do this, detach the lever base, then insert a tool (rigid pin) into slot 1 and press button 2 at the same time until the lever is released.
Contact an Authorised Dacia Dealer as soon as possible.
Use only the front 2 and rear 5 towing points (never use the driveshafts or any other part of the vehicle).

These towing eyes may only be used for towing the vehicle. Under no circumstances may they be used to lift the vehicle, either directly or indirectly.
When the engine is switched off, the power steering and brake assist do not work.
