With the ignition on, pull lever 1 towards you.
A short pull on the lever activates the washers and causes one wipe of the windscreen.
A longer pull on the lever activates the washers and causes three wipes of the windscreen, followed after a few seconds by a fourth wipe.

Before carrying out any work on the windscreen (washing the vehicle, removing frost, cleaning the windscreen, etc.), set lever 1 to position A (stop operation).
