Switching off the lights

Turn ring 4 again to the position where mark 5 aligns with the symbol for the fog lights to be switched off. The corresponding indicator lamp goes out on the instrument panel.

Switching off the exterior lighting also switches off the front and rear fog lamps.

Cornering lights (depending on vehicle equipment)

When driving through a bend, if the dipped beam headlights are on and certain conditions are met (speed, steering wheel angle, forward gear engaged, turn indicator on, etc.), one of the front fog lights comes on to illuminate the bend.

When reverse gear is engaged, both front fog lights come on at the same time to help the driver manoeuvre.

In fog, snow, or when carrying items that protrude beyond the roof, automatic headlight switching may not operate consistently.

Switching the fog lights on remains under the driver's control: the indicator lamps on the instrument panel show whether they are on (lamp lit) or off (lamp off).
