Upper centre pillar trim

REMOVAL (5-door version).

Slide the front seat forward.

Unhook the seat belt by pressing the latch (A).

Unclip the trim at the upper part (1).

Remove the trim (2).

Partially release the door seals.

Unclip the lower retaining clips (B).

Release:

• the trim (3) and (4),
• the seat belt webbing through the opening (C).

INSTALLATION

Refit in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL (3-door version)

On a vehicle fitted with rear side airbags, before starting to remove the rear wing trim, the airbag control unit must be locked using the diagnostic tool (see chapter 88C).

Slide the front seat forward.

Unclip the front sill trim (1).

Remove:

• the bench seat base,
• the screw (A).

Release the seat belt retaining rail.

Remove the screw (B).

Unclip the trim (2).

On a vehicle fitted with rear side airbags: remove the two bolts (B).

Remove the rear wing trim.

Partially release the door seal.

Unclip the lower retaining clips (C).

Release:

• the trim (3) and (4),
• the seat belt webbing through the opening (D).

INSTALLATION

Refit in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the seat belt rail fixing bolt to torque (21 N.m).
