REMOVAL

IMPORTANT: On a vehicle fitted with rear side airbags, before starting to remove the trim, the airbag control unit must be locked using the diagnostic tool (see section 88C).

Remove:

• the front seats (see section 75A-A) (observe safety instructions),
• the centre console (see section 57A-A),
• the parking brake control (see section 37A),
• the rear seat cushion (see section 76A-C).

Unclip the front sill trim (1).

Release the side panel from the dashboard.

Unclip:

• the clip (A),
• the trim (2).

Remove the screw (A).

Remove the screw (C).

Release the trim (3).

For a vehicle fitted with rear side airbags: remove the two screws (C).

Insert a screwdriver into the hole (D).

Applying pressure on the screwdriver, release the clip.

Remove the carpet.

INSTALLATION

Refit in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the seat belt rail fixing screws to torque (21 N.m).
