Tightening torques

It is preferable to drain the automatic transmission when the oil is hot (60 °C maximum), in order to remove as many impurities as possible.

  • Raise the vehicle on a lift.
  • Remove the undershield.

  • Drain the oil by removing the plug (1).
Note: As a precaution, it is recommended to measure the volume of oil drained (full or partial drain), so that the volume of oil to be refilled is known, to avoid level errors.

  • The plug has two functions:
  • the drain plug (2.5 daN.m) (1),
  • the level check plug (3.5 daN.m) (2).
