Rear Door Module Repair Procedures

Replacement

1. 1
   Remove the rear door glass. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Glass")

   Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle")

   Loosen the rear door outside handle base mounting bolt (A).

   After loosening the mounting bolt and nuts, remove the rear door channel (A). Tightening torque: Bolt: 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m Nut: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m

   Loosen the rear door latch mounting screws (A).

   After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the rear door module (B). Tightening torque: Bolt: 7.8 ~ 11.8 N·m Screw: 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m

   Disconnect the connectors and wire harness of the front door module (A).

   Remove the rear door lock assembly. (Refer to Front Door - "Rear Door Latch")

   Remove the rear speaker. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Speakers")

    Remove the rear power window motor. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Power Window Motor")

    Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Apply a sufficient amount of grease to the moving parts. Check that the connectors are connected correctly and that each rod is securely connected. Check that the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
