Seat Belt Buckle Switch (BS) Description and Operation
In this manual: Restraints
~1min read
Description
The SRSCM must monitor the status of the driver and front passenger seat belt buckles. The SRSCM provides one contact for each seat belt buckle status input of the driver and front passenger. The seat belt buckle circuit operates from an internal pull-up voltage supplied by the SRSCM and uses chassis ground for the return signal. The buckle status affects SRSCM deployment. If the buckle is unlatched, the corresponding pretensioner will not be deactivated.Test yourself
