- The EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) is applied.

- The vehicle has been stopped for more than 5 minutes.
- The driver starts moving by pressing the switch up (RES+) or down (SET-) or by pressing the accelerator pedal approximately 3 seconds after the vehicle has been stopped by Smart Cruise Control, with no vehicle ahead.
- The driver starts moving by pressing the switch up (RES+) or down (SET-) or by pressing the accelerator pedal after the vehicle has stopped behind a vehicle that is stopped far ahead.
- The accelerator pedal is kept pressed for more than 5 minutes.
Each of these actions cancels Smart Cruise Control operation. (The set speed and the distance between vehicles on the LCD display will turn off.)
If Smart Cruise Control is canceled automatically, it will not resume even if the RES+ or SET- switch is pressed. In addition, the EPB will be applied when the vehicle is stopped.
NOTICE
If Smart Cruise Control is canceled for reasons other than those listed above, have your vehicle checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

If the system is canceled, a warning chime will sound and a message will appear for several seconds.
You must control the vehicle speed by pressing the accelerator or brake pedal, depending on the road conditions ahead and driving conditions.
Always check road conditions. Do not rely on the warning chime.
