Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) System
.jpg)
The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system uses radar sensors to warn the driver.
It monitors the areas behind the vehicle and alerts the driver if it detects an object approaching from these areas.
(1) BSD (Blind-Spot Detection)
The warning range depends on your vehicle's speed. However, if your vehicle is much faster than another vehicle, the system will not warn you.
(2) LCA (Lane Change Assist)
If the system detects a vehicle approaching you at high speed, the system will warn you.
(3) RCTA (Rear Cross-Traffic Alert)
If the radar detects an approaching vehicle from the left or right side while you are backing up, the system will warn you.
WARNING
- Always check road conditions for unexpected situations while driving, even when the Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system is operating.
- The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system is a supplemental system that helps you drive safely. Do not rely solely on the system; always stay alert and drive safely.
- The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system does not replace proper and safe driving. Always drive safely and use caution when changing lanes or backing up the vehicle. The Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system may not detect every object near the vehicle.
WARNING
Since the Blind-Spot Detection (BSD) system is a supplemental device for safe driving, it may be dangerous to rely only on the BSD information displayed on the head-up display when changing lanes. Always pay attention to safe driving.
