Setting the Smart Cruise Control Speed

~1min read

1. Press the CRUISE button on the steering wheel to turn the system on. The cruise indicator will illuminate.

2. Accelerate to the desired speed.

The Smart Cruise Control speed can be set as follows:

  • 30 km/h - 180 km/h: When there is no vehicle ahead
  • 0 km/h - 180 km/h: When there is a vehicle ahead

3. Press and release the switch down (SET-) at the desired speed. The set speed and the distance between vehicles will be shown on the LCD display.

4. Release the accelerator pedal. The desired speed will be maintained automatically.

If a vehicle is ahead of you, the speed may decrease to maintain the distance to the vehicle ahead.

On a steep hill, the vehicle may slightly decelerate or accelerate uphill or downhill.
