Driving Your Vehicle
Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
In this manual: Driving Your Vehicle
~1min read
The Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system is designed to detect and monitor the vehicle ahead, or to help detect pedestrians in the roadway, using radar signals and camera recognition, to warn the driver of an imminent collision and, if necessary, apply emergency braking.
WARNING
Observe the following precautions when using the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system:
- This system is only a supplemental system and is not designed to replace the driver's need for extreme caution and attention. The detection range and the objects detected by the sensors are limited. Always pay attention to road conditions.
- NEVER drive too fast for road conditions or while turning.
- Always drive carefully to prevent unexpected and sudden situations from occurring. AEB does not stop the vehicle completely and does not prevent a collision.
