Adjust the steering wheel so that it points to your chest, not your face. Make sure you can see the warning lamps and gauges on the instrument panel. After adjusting, push the steering wheel up and down to make sure it is locked in position. Always adjust the steering wheel position before starting to drive.

WARNING

NEVER adjust the steering wheel OLF047016 while driving. This may cause loss of vehicle control, resulting in an accident.

To change the steering wheel tilt angle and height:

1. Pull down the lock release lever (1).

2. Adjust the steering wheel to the desired angle (2) and height (3).

3. Pull up the release lever to lock the steering wheel.

Information

After adjusting, the release lever may sometimes fail to lock the steering wheel. This is not a malfunction. It occurs when the two locking teeth are not properly engaged. In this case, adjust the steering wheel again, then lock the steering wheel.
