Before driving:

  1. Check that the windows, mirrors, lights and reflectors are clean and undamaged.
  2. Check the tires.
  3. Check for fluid leaks.
  4. Adjust the driver's seat position.
  5. Check the brake pedal operation.
  6. Check the clutch pedal operation (1.6 L models).
  7. Adjust the rearview mirrors.
  8. Make sure all passengers, including yourself, have their seat belts properly fastened.
  9. Check that all warning lights come on when the key is turned to "ON" or "START".
  10. Check the condition of all gauges.
  11. Make sure the brake warning light goes off after releasing the parking brake.
