NOTICE Future engine performance and reliability depend on care and moderation in its early use. It is especially important to observe the following precautions during the first 1000 km.
- After starting, do not increase engine speed significantly. Warm up the engine gradually. Avoid prolonged driving at a constant speed. Moving parts will settle in better if the speed varies.
- Do not exceed 120 km/h.
- Accelerate gently. Avoid full-throttle starts.
- Avoid hard braking where possible, especially during the first 320 km of driving.
- Do not drive slowly in a high gear.
- Drive with moderate engine speed.
