Listen to the engine operation and check the condition of the exhaust system.
If leaks are found, repair them immediately (refer to subsection 2.7.3).
Stop the engine and check the oil level (refer to subsection 2.3).

Inspection While Driving
Check the speedometer and other gauges for proper operation.
In a safe place, check the brakes for proper operation and even braking.
Listen for noises indicating abnormal operation of vehicle components.
