Malfunction Possible Cause Remedy
A. Insufficient heating output 1. Heater cable broken or heater rotary switch gear engagement defective
2. Heater flap does not open
3. Air flap does not open
4. Heavy debris accumulated in front of the heat exchanger
5. Coolant thermostat opens too early, coolant remains too cold		 Check, replace if necessary
Check flap and lever position
Check cable actuator, flap and lever position
Remove cabin blower, clean heat exchanger with a vacuum cleaner
Replace thermostat
B. Heating cannot be switched off See A1
