Heating and Ventilation
In this manual: Heating and Ventilation
~1min read
Outside air enters between the hood and the windshield and is forced into the cabin by the oncoming airflow or, additionally, by the cabin blower. If the vehicle is equipped with a dust filter, the incoming air is cleaned before entering the blower. When heating is switched on, the valve opens the path through the heat exchanger, a small heating element through which heated coolant from the engine flows. If heating is not switched on, the incoming air enters the cabin via another path, bypassing the heat exchanger.
