Fuses

They are designed to switch interconnected circuits of various electrical system components, and also to protect them from overload and short circuits.

A — spare fuses.

The fuse box is located under the hood on the left. The relay with the fuse for the diesel engine glow plug preheating device is located on the right of the fuse box. Its rating is 50 amperes. Replacement must be performed only at a service station.

Replacement Procedure. Disconnect the corresponding consumer from the power supply.

Press both clips simultaneously in the direction of the arrow to open and remove the box cover.

Using the table, determine which fuse corresponds to this consumer.

Using the plastic tweezers attached to the box cover, pull it out.

Check the condition of the metal element to determine whether it has blown. If it has, replace it with an equivalent fuse.

Spare fuses can be purchased at service stations.

Note: If the new fuse blows again after some time, check the electrical equipment for faults.

Never repair or make homemade fuses. This may damage the interconnected circuit of another system's electrical equipment.

Spare fuses must always be kept in the vehicle. 4 of them can be stored in the special slots of the box.
