Checking the brake fluid level

A quick look at the brake fluid reservoir is enough to check the fluid level.

The brake fluid level must be between the “Min” and “Max” marks.

A slight drop in the fluid level occurs while driving, due to wear and automatic adjustment of the brake pad clearance. This is normal.

However, if the brake fluid level drops noticeably in a short time or falls below the “Min” mark, the brake system may no longer be sealed. The brake warning light comes on when the brake fluid level in the reservoir is too low. In this case, go to a specialist workshop immediately and have the brake system checked.
