Closing the Engine Hood

• Push the engine hood down until the gas strut no longer exerts any pressure.
• Let it drop so that it latches by itself.

• do not press down on the hood!

CAUTION!

• For safety reasons, the engine hood must always be securely closed while driving. For this reason, after closing it, you should always try to lift it to check whether the latch is properly engaged. This is the case when the hood is flush with the surrounding body panels.
• If you notice while driving that the hood is not latched, stop immediately and close the engine hood - risk of accident!
