Wheels

Clean the wheels regularly so that they keep their decorative appearance for a long time. If road salt and brake abrasion deposits are not removed regularly, these substances attack the material.

Always use a special acid-free wheel cleaner available from Audi dealers and specialist workshops to clean the wheels. Never leave the product on longer than necessary. Acidic wheel cleaners can attack the surface of the wheel bolts.

Do not use paint polish or other abrasive products to care for the wheels. If the protective paint coating has been damaged, e.g. by stone chips, touch it up immediately.

CAUTION!

When cleaning the wheels, remember that moisture, ice and road salt reduce braking efficiency - risk of accident!
