REMOVAL

1. Lower the steering column fully and extend it fully.
2. Remove the bolt (arrow in the accompanying illustration).

3. Press the upper cover on both sides in the area shown in the accompanying illustration and remove it upward.

INSTALLATION

1. If necessary, replace the upper mounting bolt nut.
2. Install the upper part and secure it. The hook (1) must engage the receptacle (2).

4. Secure the upper part with the screws.
