Driving Considerations. Driving on a race track

~1min read

Although the BMW 5 G30 is designed for sporty driving, it was not developed for participation in motorsport competitions. This chapter points out the particular stresses encountered when driving on a race track. Before use under extreme conditions, BMW recommends a technical inspection by a qualified workshop. This ensures that all systems function correctly and that warranty claims are not jeopardized.

The higher mechanical and thermal stress of race track operation leads to increased wear. This wear is not covered by the warranty.

The vehicle is not designed for use in a motorsport competition.

Before driving on a race track, have the vehicle inspected by a BMW Service Partner or another qualified service partner or workshop.

Driving on a race track places a special load on the BMW 5 G30/G31 that goes far beyond normal road use. High mechanical and thermal stress leads to significantly increased wear, so use on a race track should be carefully considered.

It is especially important to have the vehicle professionally inspected before such use. Advice from the Service Partner helps you make the appropriate settings and minimize risks. This maintains operational safety even when the vehicle is driven to its limits.

With these notes, the BMW 5 G30/G31 shows that performance and a sense of responsibility are inseparable, including away from public roads.
