Lamps and Lights

Lamps and lights make a significant contribution to vehicle safety. Therefore, replace them strictly following all rules. If you are not familiar with all the requirements for such work, have it performed by a BMW service center.

Do not touch the glass bulbs of new lamps with bare hands, because even slight contamination becomes burnt onto the surface of the bulb, shortening its service life. Use a clean cloth, paper towel or similar, or hold the lamp by its base.

Replacement lamp kits are available at BMW service centers.

To avoid short circuits during any electrical work, switch off the device being repaired or disconnect the negative battery terminal.

When replacing lamps, strictly follow all instructions from the lamp manufacturer. This will prevent injury and damage to the lamp.
