Replacing the batteries: Batteries need to be replaced when the orange indicator lamp flashes for 5 seconds after pressing any of the buttons.

What is an elevator unit and how does it increase system efficiency?

1. Remove the battery compartment cover 1.
2. Install two new batteries of the same type in compartment 2. The battery type and installation position are shown on the bottom of the compartment.

3. Close the cover.

Dispose of used batteries at a collection point or at a BMW service center.

New remote control: A new or additional remote control must be initialized. This will be done for you at a BMW service center.

The system can be operated with two remote controls.
