LEDs

LEDs are used to illuminate the controls, indicators and other interior equipment of the vehicle. LEDs have much in common with conventional lasers and are officially called "Class 1 light-emitting diodes".

Open LEDs must not be looked at for long periods, so they are covered by lenses that filter their emission. To avoid damage to the retina, do not remove these covers.
