Connecting headphones

Headphones can be connected to the 3.5 mm jack or via the infrared (IR) port.

For information on which IR headphones are supported by the IR port, contact a BMW service centre.

When using IR headphones, there must be no interference between the headphones and the IR port. Therefore, make sure there are no obstacles between the headphones and the port, and that the IR port cover is not blocked or scratched. Unfavourable lighting conditions, such as excessively bright ambient light, can also cause interference.◄
